Bio

Ayaz Ahmed is the Program Manager for the Community Service Society’s NYC Managed Care Consumer Assistance Program (MCCAP) which serves all five boroughs of New York City.  Ayaz joined CSS in 2011 and worked as a Health Counselor assisting New Yorkers with their healthcare access and coverage related issues. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa where he lived for 7 years, and has a Master’s in Healthcare Policy from Baruch College, City University of New York.
