Watson Houses: Property Assessment and Capital Needs

Summary: The result of a six-month engagement process bringing the public housing residents of 1471 Watson Houses and building science experts together, the 1471 Watson Resident Booklet is an easy to understand and democratically informed document, with building details, resident preferences, and a baseline and inclusive modernization scope. CSS partnered with PRO Architects and ERA to help residents of Watson Houses envision healthy, safe, and upgraded homes. This project was generously supported by the Altman Foundation.
