CSS Announces New Vice President, Adriana Pezzulli
The Community Service Society (CSS) is pleased to introduce Adriana Pezzulli as its new Vice President for Development.
Prior to coming to CSS Adriana served as Chief Development Officer for Children’s Rights, a national child welfare reform organization that advocates on behalf of children in child welfare, juvenile justice, healthcare and immigration systems. She brings more than two decades of experience developing and implementing integrated, multi-platform fundraising programs and campaigns to help nonprofit organizations engage donors and create robust resource-development strategies and solutions.
Adriana received her bachelor’s degree from New York University and is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business. She will serve on the CSS Leadership Team and lead the organization’s five-person development team.
“We are extremely excited to be adding Adriana to our team. She has led high-achieving development teams in her previous positions at Children’s Rights and the Lower Eastside Girls Club of NY. In addition to her development experience, Adriana brings a passion for economic and social justice causes and will be a tremendous asset as we strengthen our fundraising operations,” said CSS President and CEO David R. Jones.
“New York is my home and New Yorkers have my heart,” said Adriana, who lives with her husband Jonathan and their two children Eva, 15, and Noah, 6, in Flatbush Brooklyn. “I am delighted to be joining one of New York’s preeminent charitable organizations at this critical time in the city’s recovery and to aid in helping connect donors to the high impact work CSS does to promote economic opportunities for all New Yorkers.”
