Stories from The New York Times Neediest Cases
Summary: For more than 100 years, The New York Times has sponsored the annual Neediest Cases Fund to raise money for needy individuals and families at seven major New York City nonprofits; Community Service Society of New York (CSS) is fortunate to be one of the recipient agencies. The New York Times Fund has allowed us to provide stability to individuals and families at a time when they were experiencing financial hardship and struggling to survive. This booklet is a collection of CSS's 2014-2015 Neediest Cases Fund stories published in The New York Times; it gives examples of some of the recipients whose lives were improved with assistance from The New York Times.
